I want to express my condolences to the family on your loss. Ticky, you have been such a faithful friend for more years than I can remember and want to thank you for letting me know about your Uncle Walter. He seemed to be a very admirable man.

I remember meeting Walter as a small child when he would come buy lobsters from my dad, then later in life he would butcher our pigs and cow, then sometime later we met again as i would stop daily and pick up the lobsters that he would purchase,he always helped load the truck and was so polite, he always had a big smile and a laugh, there will never be another Walter Warren , we will always miss you , but never forget you RIP ( i may even have a little sip tonight for you )

The Management and Staff of Tangier Lobster Company extend sincere condolences to the family of Water Warren at this difficult time. This should be a moment of celebration however at the example of a life extremely well lived and a valuable member suitably recognized in his community.
Walter bought lobsters from the local fishers on our behalf. We had the most informal and gracious relationship imaginable. Walter was able to do physical work in his 80's that far younger men had long since given up. He was a terrific example of the nature of aging gracefully more than anything ...
We will think most of Walter on February 4th. He would come for a visit on that date which was his birthday, and buy a very substantial feed of lobsters the vast bulk of which he would immediately proceed to give away. It is incredible to think he would have been 100 this year . We surely won't see his like again ....
