We were sad to hear about Albert’s passing. I have many memories of being in his home as far back as the 70’s. He always welcomed us and offered a place to stay if required. We’ll miss him when visiting Spry Bay during summers.
Condolences to Shawna, Colin, Maria and families.

My condolances to Albert's family at ths sad time. As a neighbour of his brother Emmerson, I first met Albert many years ago and was delighted to meet him again while volunteering at Northwood ! He was always so sociable and engaged and everyone seemed to love a friendly chat with him , as did I . I'm sure his Lord and loved ones welcomed him with open arms ! Kay Ann Meagher

To the Josey family; please accept my most sincere condolences on the passing of your father. My mom and I had many great chats with your dad over the past 2 years in Northwood. My mom was also a residence on 10 Manor (she passed on Dec 11). It was such a pleasure to chat with your dad, especially about the Eastern Shore, we too have family roots from the area, my mom being from Marie Joseph and my dad from Goldenville. Your dad was so kind and friendly, always had a smile for everyone. Sincerely Bev Sponagle

My condolences to the Josey Family, I met “Josey” as most called him at Ocean and Conrad’s, a few decades ago when he joined Ocean in our quarry. He was a good Man with a Big Heart and soft voice. I also had many conversations at Masonic events. At the annual instillation of officers of the Lodge, the van load of us from town were met with a handshake and smile as if we were celebrities. The Family should be proud of Albert Josey’s accomplishments. May he rest in Peace.

Dear Shawna, Maria, and Colin,
We are so sorry for your loss. Losing a dad is a loss like no other. Spry Bay won't be the same without him. We have fond memories of Junior's funny stories, generous nature and his joie de vivre! He was full of life and lived his life to the fullest. He will be missed by so many. Many of us have his beautiful seaside artwork hanging in our homes which always warms my heart. I will remember his wit, his storytelling, his sparkling eyes and his laugh. I told him it was hard for me to start calling him Albert because all my life I knew him as Junior and he said I'm old enough now to be called Albert. He was 92 then. We just laughed. Take care of yourselves and each other.

Your talent for making rustic crafts (framed sailboats) and being a wonderful person are great memories. You always had great stories and Blair and I enjoyed listening to them.

Passing on sincere condolences to the family, Albert was a true gentleman, kind, caring & always a great sense of humor. I have many fond memories of Jr when I was a teen, rescuing a Ski-Doo from the bottom of 3rd Lake to name just one. He was also quite close with my mother, they went to dances, card parties & other events together in thier later years. He lived a very full, rewarding life n the Eastern Shore. Thinking of you all, David, Crystal Malay & Family
