CLARENCE ROBERT MARSHALL, 70, of Malay Falls, passed peacefully on November 1, 2024 at the Eastern Shore Memorial Hospital. He was born in Sheet Harbour on July 2, 1954 to the late Richard and Mary (Holman). He is survived by wife Jay (Miller), daughters Clare (David), and Jessie (Matthew); siblings Wendy (Tom) Sabean, Gary, Pamela (Sandy), and Raymond. Clarence learned woodworking and all matter of trades from his father and grandfather and spent his life plying his craft in Nova Scotia as C. Marshall Woodworking. As a life-long learner, Clarence enjoyed reading and followed that which made him curious. He passed on an appreciation of nature to his children. Live music and comedy brought him great joy. His gentle soul will be remembered and missed by all. Special thanks to the physicians and staff of the Aberdeen and Eastern Shore Memorial Hospitals, Dr. MacDonald, and D.S. Crowell & Son Funeral Home. Donations may be made in lieu of flowers to a charity of your choice. Visitation to be held on Wednesday, November 6 at D.S. Crowell & Son Funeral Home at 22558 Highway 7 Sheet Harbour, from 11am – 1pm, followed by funeral service at St. Andrew's Anglican Church in Watt Section at 2pm. Reception to follow at the Royal Canadian Legion #58 in Watt Section. All are welcome.
