Anne Shirley Davidson Obituary

Anne Shirley Davidson passed away peacefully on December 20, 2023 at the Halifax Infirmary. Shirley was the daughter of the late Bertram James Doyle and Margaret Ellen Doyle (Murphy). Shirley was a proud graduate of the Halifax Infirmary School of Nursing class of 1960. She worked as an RN in Ottawa, Edmonton and for 28 years as the Operating Room Manager of the Northwestern General Hospital in Toronto. She leaves behind her husband of almost 55 years Peter, her brother Bert and his wife Helen, nephews Paul and wife Kelly and Michael and wife Catherine. She has one great niece Kaya, and numerous Doyle and Murphy cousins with whom she remained in close contact. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life and internment will be held on Thursday May 2, 2024 at 2pm in D.S. Crowell & Son Funeral Home, 22558 Highway 7, Sheet Harbour followed by internment in St. Peters' Church Cemetery in Sheet Harbour Nova Scotia. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested in memory of Shirley to Sacred Heart School of Halifax and Feed Nova Scotia.Messages of condolence can be directed to www.crowellsfuneralhome.ca
