Dear Marion and family,
My heart was filled with sadness to read of Floyd's passing. There are so many memories that started when we moved to Stokil Drive in Lower Sackville in 1979.
My Dad cherished his friendship with Floyd and their connection was so strong, even after Dad moved away. Floyd was so very kind to my Mom and he was always willing to help her with her car or a repair in the house. For this I am very thankful.
I am so very appreciative of his friendship with my parents, but also the never ending warmth and kindness he showed to me.
I am sending my deep condolences. I know from experience that it will be the beautiful memories that get you through the tough days.
Floyd will have a place in my heart forever. The world needs more Floyds.
Sincerely, Chantal Hemens

Dear Marion, Brent, Andrea, and Cara,
I was so sorry to hear about Floyd's passing. He was such a good (and best) friend to my Dad and also my Mom for so many years. So many memories come rushing back from our early hockey days, band practices in the basement, and his working on my endless number of crappy cars too.
He was a wonderful and kind man with a smile (and deep stare) that was contagious. Hopefully he can get together for a beer now with my Dad and they can catch up on all their great memories.
Best regards,
Shawn Hemens
