I am so sorry to hear about Dorothy’s passing. I met Dorothy at the Dartmouth General Hospital as she was my roommate for a few days. I enjoyed getting to know her. She was a dear soul and we both felt very lucky to have each other to chat to.

My father the late Duncan S. Crowell purchased the business on August 31, 1970 from the late Parker Hamilton. Dad named it Eastern Memorial Funeral Home until a few years later when he changed the name to DS Crowell Funeral Home.
