Ruby's family, I was so sorry to hear of Ruby's passing. I always enjoyed seeing her when she was shopping at Sobey's. We would always chat with each other and find out what is new. I will miss her very much. Shauna Keeping and family

Ruby’s family: I was very sorry to hear of Ruby’s passing. We grew up together along the eastern shore and would get together as youngsters and cousins growing up. My father the late Duncan S. Crowell purchased the business on August 31, 1970 from the late Parker Hamilton. Dad named it Eastern Memorial Funeral Home until a few years later when he changed the name to DS Crowell Funeral Home.
