Hubley, Joan Eileen- 83, Mushaboom, passed away suddenly Sunday November 24, 2019 in Musquodoboit Valley Memorial Hospital, Middle Musquodoboit. Born in Halifax September 23, 1936 she was a daughter of the late Herman & Olive (LeHuquet) Munroe. Joan worked at the nursing home for several years but was a homemaker most of her life. She loved to bake, watch TV especially Family Feud, Murder She Wrote, Matlock and any action movies, and she really had a thing for Chuck Norris. She absolutely loved Christmas, especially her Christmas Tree. Joan also loved being surrounded by her family. Survived by children; Melvin (Betty), Susan Hutt, Veronica (Robert) Bennett, David (Joni), grandson Matthew (Vanessa) Hutt, great-granddaughter Kinsley, sisters; Nancy Boutilier (Gerry), Linda (Robie) Boutilier, Rose (Wade) Weeks, brother Richard (Frances). Predeceased by husband Eugene, sisters; Dorothy, Mildred MacDonald, Jean Clyburn, brothers; Stanley, Clarence, Russell and Freddie in infancy. No visitation by request. Funeral Service will be held Friday November 29 at 2:00p.m. in St. Pauls Anglican Church, Mushaboom Rev. Lorraine Otto officiating. Burial in the new cemetery.
