Never got to meet Joan. ! But just knowing her daughter Veronica tells me she was loved by many. Losing someone is always hard. Each loss is different She is now at peace. WArm thoughts to the family.

My sympathies and prayers to you all. Joan was one of the kindest,sweetest ladies I've ever met. She made it quite obvious to all who knew her just how much she loved her family. My father the late Duncan S. Crowell purchased the business on August 31, 1970 from the late Parker Hamilton. Dad named it Eastern Memorial Funeral Home until a few years later when he changed the name to DS Crowell Funeral Home.
