Obituary of Kenneth Gerald Hartling

Age 82, Middle Musquodoboit, formerly of East Quoddy. Kenneth flew into the arms of his beloved Lord, surrounded by family on Sunday, June 9, 2019. Born in Quoddy August 15, 1936, he was a son of the late Raymond and Margaret (McGrath) Hartling. Kenneth's greatest love was his precious Lord, and family. He showed respect and compassion for all. His passions were fishing, hunting, and travelling. Kenneth leaves behind sons, Todd (Susan), Dick (Darcelle) and Gavin (Beverly); daughters, Sarah Webber, Nancy Manzer (Owen) and Kate Hartling; grandchildren, Natalie, Katrina, Jillian, James, Wilson, and Vanessa; great-grandson, Noah; as well as many nieces and nephews; and a multitude of friends. Also, long-time caregiver (10 years), Dana Murphy. Kenneth was predeceased by his wife of 40 years, Freda Hartling (1999); brothers, Bill and Neil (Shirley); and sisters, Joyce Beswick /Gillie and Nancy in infancy. There will be no visitation, or funeral, as per Kenneth's wishes. Family interment through D.S. Crowell & Son Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 12th, at 2 p.m., in United Church Cemetery in East Quoddy. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the charity of your choice.
