Obituary of Lawrence Graham Murphy

MURPHY, (Larry) Graham, 68 passed away peacefully at the QEII, Halifax Infirmary site on January 21, 2018.  Born in Halifax on January 25, 1949 he was a son of the late Fred and Jean (Doty) Murphy.  He is survived by his life partner and soul mate, Sherry Smith and by his sons, Mark (Jill Backman) Halifax, Jason (Sandie) and grandson, Colton, Edmonton, AB.  By his stepdaughter, Vicki (Senny Leong), step grandson, Jacob and step granddaughter, Kennedy also from Edmonton, AB.  Brothers, Bernie (Karen Lorraine), Jim (Julie) both of Halifax and sister, Janine (Robert Murray) of Amherst, NS and many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. A sincere thank you to the medical staff of 8.2 for making his brief stay a comfortable one.  In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations be made to “The Lodge That Gives” under the direction of the Nova Scotia Cancer Society.
