Age 68, Malay Falls, passed away Monday, April 1, 2019 in Eastern Shore Memorial Hospital, Sheet Harbour. Born in Coal Creek, N.B. February 7, 1951, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Mayme (Hawkes) Hawkes. Survived by husband of 48 years, Ron; daughter, Tanya (Michael) Lindsay, Ottawa; son, Jason, Halifax; grandchildren, Macayle, Tyler, Keagen, and Lillian; sister, Marjorie (Philip) Brown, Gary N.B.; Judy (Ken) Desjardin, Kitchener, Ont.; brother, Borden (Kelly) Hawkes, Coal Creek, N.B.; sister-in-law, Mary Hawkes, Oromocto, N.B. Predeceased by brother, Gerald. Visitation will be held Friday April 5th, 7-9 p.m. with prayers at 7:30 p.m. in D.S. Crowell & Son Funeral Home, 22558 Hwy. 7, Sheet Harbour. A Celebration of Life will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, April 6th in Living Water Baptist Church, Sheet Harbour, Pastor Bill Glenn officiating. Burial at a later date. Reception to follow in the Masonic Lodge, Sheet Harbour. Family flowers only. Donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society.
