Obituary of Mary Jean Fleet

Age 89, Ecum Secum, passed away Monday, February 25, 2019 in Highcrest Sherbrooke Nursing Home with her loving family by her side. Born July 7, 1929 in Grand Anse, she was a daughter of the late Hugh Neil and Daisy (Mauger) MacDonald. Mary was a loving wife and mother and was an active member of St. Barnabas Church Guild. Survived by children, Lawrence, Ecum Secum; Karen (Hugh) Pribe, Windsor, Maine; Blair, Ecum Secum; Wesley, Marie Joseph; sisters, Shirley Burke, Grand Anse; Margaret, Port Hawksbury; Roberta, Sydney; grandchildren, Sarah and Carmen; two great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by husband, Alvin and brother, Alexander in infancy. Visitation will be held Friday at 7-9 p.m. in Ecum Secum Chapel. Funeral service will be held Saturday, March 2nd at 3 p.m. in St. Barnabas Church, Ecum Secum, Rev. Gary Barr officiating. Burial in the church cemetery.
