Karyn, I am so sorry. You and John did not have as long a retirement together as I and all your friends would have hoped. Peace be upon you.

Karyn,
Dale and I are heartbroken to learn of John's recent passing. We have very fond memories of both you. Whenever I greeted John I would say "how you doin'" and he'd go into gales of laughter. He was always cheerful, helpful, kind and thoughtful.
We had hoped to attend the funeral, unfortunately, the weather dictated otherwise.
Please know that you are in our hearts and minds on this very sad day.
With love,
Helen

Karyn and John's family,
So sorry to hear of John's passing. It's been many, many years since I last saw John, but as a younger cousin, I have lots of fond memories of Christmas at our Nan's and the fun times at our family cottages in Lawrecetown, especially one joke he played on me I'll never forget! He may be gone from my world but not from my memory. Love to you all........

Karyn, what a great friend we loss in John. We will miss his laughter the gatherings, endless jokes and just the warm-hearted person he was. We'll miss him greatly, but know that we will see him again in the new world. We look forward to welcoming John back and all the wonderful gatherings that await us in the future. We will continue to place our hope on Jehovah's promises found in the book that bears John's name, (John 5:28, 29.) Our love, prayers and thoughts extend across the miles to you,
Howard and Oveta

Dear Karyn
Want you to know I am thinking of you at this time. May your many memories of good times spent together be a source of comfort. My only one time spent at your home was marked by the hospitality and generosity of you both. Real comfort comes from the God of all comfort who comforts us in all our tribulations. How we look forward to the time when sickness and death will be no more..
