Balcom, Ralph Douglas- 65 Port Dufferin, passed away October 26, 2024. Born in Halifax, April 18, 1959 Ralph was the son of the late Edward and Margaret (Day) Balcom. He was a graduate of Dartmouth High School and NSCC Carpentry. Ralph was a self- employed carpenter and also worked in the Tangier and Dufferin Mines. He was an avid gardener, movie critic, and enjoyed conversation with everyone he met. Survived by sister Carol (Paul) Rutledge, brothers Steve (Nancy), Ken (Theresa), Norman (Rebecca) and David. Seven nieces and nephews, nine great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by Sister-in-law Alicia and nephew Ryan. There will be a graveside service Saturday November 9 at 11am in St. James Anglican Church cemetery, Port Dufferin. Reception to follow at the SR Balcom Center, Port Dufferin. Donations can be made to the St. James Anglican Church.
