BOUTILIER, JAMES FREDERICK – 81, Sheet Harbour died Wednesday August 28,2024 in Colchester East Hants Health Center. Born in Sheet Harbour December 6,1942 he was a son of the late Emmett and Gertrude (Helpard) Boutilier. Jim was a carpenter for most of his working life. He enjoyed his work and took pride in it. In his retirement he liked tinkering in his garage, gardening and helping his children with their many home improvement projects. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Lorraine; children, Clair, Kim (Bill) and Jenny (Glenn); grandchildren, Emily and Connor; sisters, Diane and Velda (Clyde) and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son Chris and siblings, Stanley, Howard, Duncan, John,Cecil, Michael, Chris, Ida, Cora, Frances, Sedella, Margaret, Mary Alice and Rose. Visitation will be held 7-9 PM Friday, September 6th with funeral service 11:00 AM Saturday, September 7 all in D.S.Crowell & Son Funeral Home, 22558 Highway 7, Sheet Harbour. Rev. Debra Burlson Officiating. Burial to follow in St. Michaels Anglican Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice.
