We are saddened to announce the unexpected passing of our beloved Jewel Carmie MacDonald on August 8, 2024. Born November 15, 1999 in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Jewel left behind and will be fiercely missed by her mother Tabitha Seguin (Ian) and her father Ricky (Angela) MacDonald and younger brothers Justice and Jaxon MacDonald. Also maternal grandmother, Linda Seguin (Bill), Uncle Steven (Sarah) Seguin as well as cousins Anna and Michael Seguin. Along with her paternal grandfather, Donald MacDonald (Gloria - predeceased), Uncle Glenn (Suz) MacDonald and her name sake - her 90 year old great grandmother Carmie Fleet. And so many extended family, and family friends. Jewel was a beautiful soul who will be remembered for her huge heart, her love of spending time with family and friends, including Brooke Kenney, her love of tattoos and her beautiful smile and laugh that would brighten any room. Jewel will forever be missed and never forgotten. Visitation and reception will be held Saturday August 17 from 12:00p.m. until the time of service at 1:30p.m. all in Tangier Fire Hall, 17559 Highway 7, Tangier NS.
