Dear Carol, Cyril, Eddie and Elizabeth’s entire family;
…although I never had the pleasure of meeting Elizabeth, I have heard the many happy childhood memories that Brock has of their times together.
I too am very sorry for your loss and hope that you will find some comfort knowing that Elizabeth’s name is spoken with love here in our home.
With my sincerest condolences,
Cheryl

Dear Carol, Cyril and Eddie;
Elizabeth was like a sister to me and my best friend for many years when we were young. We spent hours riding our bikes, jumping from tree to tree (still have some of the scars today!) and from our flat-top tree fort we’d often holler and wait for the echo to come back from the east side. It didn’t take much to amuse us.
I still remember the loss I felt the summer when Elizabeth didn’t want to ramp bikes or jump from tree to tree and Carol explained that Elizabeth might not want to play tomboy games anymore, but still could be my friend. And so, we grew up and went in separate directions. But the memories of our childhood play have remained some of my fondest.
Strangely, I was standing at the base of that tree remembering Elizabeth and those times an hour before Eddie stopped to share the very sad news of Elizabeth’s passing. For the second time that day, tears came to my eyes.
I am very saddened by Elizabeth’s passing and so very sorry for your loss.
Brock

There are any number of adjectives one could apply to Elizabeth, as evidenced by the lovely messages posted here, but the ones that come to mind are: faith, strength, and courage. Elizabeth was a person of great strength, courage, and faith. I don’t know if her faith gave her courage and strength or if it was her courage that brought her strength and faith and it truly doesn’t matter; she had all three in abundance.
If you believe in the hereafter, as I do, then you know that this strong, courageous woman of faith is safe, at peace, and undoubtedly sharing stories with the folks who have gone on ahead - I know that my Mom would definitely have been there to greet her when she arrived.
Sending our deepest sympathy to all of you who loved, appreciated, and are missing Elizabeth. Take care of each other. God Bless.

To the Fleet/Kaiser Family: So sorry to read this. God Love Eliz. She came to work for me from school, we kept her and in 1980 she was appointed Deputy Clerk for the Municipality of St. Mary's. We have such a close relationship as Friends and Co-worker. We worked so well together, loved her like a Sister. Such a smart Girl and only had to be showed once and things got done..May you Rest In Peace Eliz . You will be missed by all..Hugh & Helen MacDonald:

I only knew your Mom for a short time, since she came to live with us at HarbourView Lodge, but in that short time I cared for her deeply! When I would be off for a few days and go into see her she would always smile and say, ‘Where have you been?’ So I am offering you, Nicole, Joey, your dad Michael and her grandsons my heartfelt condolences! May all your wonderful memories of her bring you all some comfort at this difficult time! I will miss her also! Hugs ❤️

Elizabeth was an old soul and a very strong presence in our lives. She was a quiet soul, and loved family time. She will be forever loved and missed by us all. She is free from her illness and is soaring high. Rest high on that mountain Elizabeth. We will see you again soon. Love Aunt Judy and cousin Allison.
