Obituary of Ramey Howard Munro

Age 86, Sober Island, passed away July 4, 2023 in Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born on Sober Island June 27, 1937,
he was the son of the late Elver and Marion (Boutilier) Munro. Ramey was a lifelong fisherman and well-known carpenter, making many friends and acquaintances over the years providing construction services throughout the local rural communities. Survived by sisters, Clara Dunn, Carrie West- haver, Helena Daye, Charlotte Hitchman (Stan), Sharon Clark, Patricia MacDonald (Danny), Linda Connors (Peter), sister-in-law, Gladys Westhaver; and brother-in-law, Wayne Thompson; many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his wife, Ruby; sisters, Darlene Thompson, Sandra Fearon; infant brothers, Malcom and Duncan. Many thanks to the doctors and nurses at Eastern Shore Memorial Hospital, Sheet Harbour, and Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Visitation will be held Friday, July 7 at 1 p.m. in DS Crowell & Son Funeral Home, 22558 Highway 7, Sheet Harbour, until the time of the graveside service at 2 p.m. in St. Michaels Anglican Cemetery, Sheet Harbour, Rev.
