Obituary of Cyril Burton Pye

Pye, Cyril Burton-71, Ecum Secum passed away Tuesday September 11, 2018 at the QEII Halifax Infirmary Site, Born in Ecum Secum March 24, 1947 he was a son of the late Lorne & Esther (Jewers) Pye. Cyril worked as a longshoreman most of his life. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was an avid fan of the Toronto Blue Jays and Toronto Maple Leafs. He especially loved his grandchildren. Survived by his companion of 18 years Greta Heiland, children Ronald (Marie) Medicine Hat, Alberta, Jeffrey, Ecum Secum, step-daughter Melanie (James) Wilson, Dartmouth, 7 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter, brothers Jerry (Marion), Ottawa, Michael (Ann), Ecum Secum, sisters Brenda (Gerry) Rudolph, Ecum Secum, Karen Pace, Thelma Dube, both of Dartmouth, Marlene (David), Halifax, Sally (Bernie) Keefe, Ecum Secum, Cathy Reid, Ottawa and many nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by his little buddy T.J. Predeceased by wife Shirley, one daughter in infancy, brother Laurie, sisters Bernadette and Susan. No funeral or visitation by request.
