Obituary of Scott Adamson
Please share a memory of Scott to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Passed away peacefully at Hospice Halifax on April 4, 2023. Born on May 3, 1957 in Sheet Harbour, Scott grew up in Quebec, studied at UNB, then lived in Edmonton and Toronto before returning home to Dartmouth in 2006. He retired from Pratt & Whitney in 2022. Well known for his sense of humour, Scott never missed a chance to entertain his family with puns and pranks inspired by his all-time favourite: Monty Python. A master of sports statistics, he could recall obscure facts on just about any sport or team, but especially the Chicago Blackhawks. He loved animals and animals loved him—especially Loie. Scott could be found having daily coffee with his Uncle Fred and Aunt Arlene, or at the local coin shop with Tim Horton’s coffees in hand. His generous spirit will be missed. Predeceased by his father, Lloyd Adamson. Lovingly remembered by his mother, Thelma (Lowe) Adamson (Doug), and siblings Julie (Glen), Leslie, and Craig. Beloved uncle to Stefanie, Braeden, Rachael, Renée, and Shirley. A celebration of life will be held this summer. Donations can be made in his memory to Hospice Halifax.
