Lawlor, Barbara Ceclia- 79 Dartmouth formerly Sheet Harbour died suddenly November 25,2022 at home. Born in Sheet Harbour November 13, 1943 she was a daughter of the late Harry & Martha (Fahie) Lawlor. Barbara in her earlier years worked at Moirs Chocolate Factory, at that time her and her sister Juanita were known as the sandwich time twins for advertising purposes when the company started selling bread. From there she worked as a cleaner for several years. Barbara enjoyed Bingo, cards, scratch tickets, cooking, putting down preserves, was an avid reader, loved family gatherings and her Big Macs. Survived by siblings James, Sheet Harbour, Maxie, Jeddore, Annie Lawlor, Lower Sackville, Rose Marie (Norman Areseneau), Tracadie N.B., Diane Publicover, Dartmouth, Debby (Steven) Kelly, Shubenacadie, many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by husband Murdock DeYoung, daughter Heather DeYoung, son Johnny DeYoung, sisters; Yvonne, Bessie Rhyno, Juanita Hubley, brothers; Harry “Junior” and Paul. Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held at a later date in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lower Sackville. Online condolences may be directed to www.crowellsfuneralhome.ca
