MacLean, Carleton John - We are sad to announce that Carleton MacLean, 81, of Sheet Harbor passed away October 7, 2022. Born in Folly Lake, Nova Scotia July 4, 1941 to the late Daniel & Hazel (Robinson) MacLean. Carleton enjoyed watching sports of any kind, in particular hockey and baseball, especially the Toronto Blue Jays and Pittsburgh Penguins. He also enjoyed long drives with Thelma and his fur baby, Cloey, to farmers markets and yard sales. Carleton is survived by his companion of ten years, Thelma Crowell, as well as his siblings Robert (Betty) Hill, Ferguson (Terry) Hill, and Martha Hill. Further, he is survived by his children Michael, Tamara, Colleen and Camden and by his stepchildren Tammy (Jerry) Gerrior(sister to predeceased Michael Woloshyn & Todd Armitage), and Stephen (Amanda) Crowell, Susan (Rod) Callahan, Vicki (Earl) Crowell and Victor (Tracey) Crowell. Cremation has taken place and a graveside committal will be held Friday October 21 at 2p.m. Rev. Valerie Kingsbury officiating at the Folly Mountain Cemetery.
