Leslie, Inez Patricia – Age 72, of Mushaboom passed away peacefully on September 14th 2022 in Twin Oaks Hospital, Musquodoboit Harbour. Born in East Quoddy, she was the daughter of the late Murray and Freda (Josey) Kirker. Inez loved her career as a school teacher, she taught kids for over 30 years. She loved to bake sweets and made the best apple pie. Christmas was her favorite holiday, she loved giving gifts and always enjoyed watching the snow fall, her favourite thing to do was dance. She will always be loved and missed by her husband of 38 years, Byron; sons John (Melissa), Will (Selena), daughter Haley, grandchildren Bella and Gracie, brothers; Carter, Malcom, Ricky and Perry. She was predeceased by brother Jerry. Thank you to all the homecare workers, CCA’s, nurses and doctors at Eastern Shore Memorial Hospital, The Birches nursing home and Twin Oaks Hospital for taking care of Inez for the past couple years. Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held Monday September 26 at 2p.m. in St. James Anglican Church Cemetery, Spry Bay.
