Boutilier, Dennis Lamont- 93. Mushaboom. Our dear father passed away peacefully in his sleep on Monday, June 20,2022 at Veterans Memorial Hospital, Halifax. He was born in Mushaboom, September 9, 1928 and lived most of his life in Mushaboom, Halifax Co., N.S., later moving to Halifax. He was a son of the late Bernard and Theresa (Westhaver) Boutilier. Dennis was known as one of the hardest workers around. He was a successful fisherman and also worked many years on the Freight Handlers Union. He loved hunting, carpentry and wood working. He was very social and loved dancing and travel. Father to Fred (Karen) Boutilier, Heather (Craig) Liddell, sister Carrie Gould. Poppy to Holly (Abby) Falkenham, Emily Liddell; great grandchildren, Sienna and Jaime Falkenham. Predeceased by son Dennis “Denny” Boutilier, sister, Celest Harnish , brother Russell and former wife Nancy Munroe. He will be greatly missed and loved always. No funeral by request. Graveside committal service will be 11 am, Friday June 24 in St. Pauls Anglican Church Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to: www.crowellsfuneralhome.ca

My father the late Duncan S. Crowell purchased the business on August 31, 1970 from the late Parker Hamilton. Dad named it Eastern Memorial Funeral Home until a few years later when he changed the name to DS Crowell Funeral Home.
