Obituary of Howard Cecil Fleet

Age 92, Ecum Secum died Wednesday February 9, 2022 with family by his side in Eastern Shore Memorial Hospital. Born in Ecum Secum he was a son of the late Isaac & Viola (Pye) Fleet. When Howard was younger he worked in the woods in the morning and checked his lobster traps later in the afternoon. He enjoyed playing crib, scratch tickets, playing bingo, fishing, hunting, especially duck hunting and feeding his buddy Luke. Howard was an avid Toronto Blue Jays fan. Survived by children; Bernie (Lynn), Kevin, Anthony “Tony” (Carolyn), Randy, Audrey (Barry) Hartling, 8 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, sister Eva Murphy and companion Prudence Baker. Predeceased by his wife Elva, daughter Shirley (Cyril) Pye, brothers Alvin, Gordon, Alex, Ernie, Freddy, Victor, sisters Alberta, Edith, Elsie, Eileen, Margaret, Murial in infancy and one granddaughter. Cremation has taken place. A graveside committal service will be held at a later date. A special thank you to Dr. MacDonald and the nursing staff at Eastern Shore Memorial Hospital for the excellent care given to Dad.
