Boutilier, William Edward “Bill”- 84, Sheet Harbour died Saturday November 13, 2021 in Glen Haven Manor, New Glasgow. Born in Sheet Harbour September 3, 1937 he was a son of the late Mark and Alma (Boutilier) Boutilier. Bill worked at the Lord Nelson Hotel in Halifax in the cleaning department before moving to Ontario for four years. He than moved home to work at the Sheet Harbour Pulp & Paper Mill, after it’s closure in 1971 he worked construction and then forestry industry. In his spare time he enjoyed watching hockey, baseball & wrestling, and listening to country music. Survived by daughter Eleanor, granddaughters Chelsea and Jennifer, grandsons Justin and Ryan, brothers; Carter (Patti), Murray, Darrell (Maryann). Bill was predeceased by his wife Priscilla, son Keith, daughter in infancy, brothers Ronald, Glen, Cyril, Myles, Tom, sister Linda Rose and two others in infancy. Cremation has taken place. A graveside committal will be held Friday November 19 at 2:00p.m. in St. James United Cemetery, Church Point Road Rev. Jeannie Manning-Stright officiating. My father the late Duncan S. Crowell purchased the business on August 31, 1970 from the late Parker Hamilton. Dad named it Eastern Memorial Funeral Home until a few years later when he changed the name to DS Crowell Funeral Home.
