Obituary of Valerie Ann Levy-Rioux
Please share a memory of Valerie to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Too soon and tragically, VALERIE ANN LEVY-RIOUX passed on November 7, 2021 in Lower Sackville, NS at age 64. Born and raised at the waters of Sheet Harbour NS, Val was a dedicated and unwavering friend, to be counted on at anytime. Always up for a chat, her sincerity, sharp wit, lightning comebacks and contagious laugh will be surely missed by her close friends and family. She never missed a birthday or a garage sale. Passionate about decor, art, crafts and interior decorating. Val created almost anything with flair, exacting standards, and in competition caliber. Val was a devoted mother to her proudest achievements Brandon and Danielle Rioux. Survived by parents Margaret and Cyril Levy, sister Heather, brother Terry, sister in law Bonnie, and grand-children Arthur and Anabelle. True to her heart she was profoundly compassionate, cared without reservation, connected genuinely, and loved unapologetically—Valerie we love you more than you may have realized, and are sorry to see you go so soon. Always in our thoughts and hearts until we meet again. A memorial service will be held Saturday November 13 at 2:00p.m. in St. Margaret’s Anglican Church, Sober Island Rev. Mike Foley officiating. Burial at a later date. Proof of vaccination, photo ID and masks are required. In lieu of flowers please donate to the mental health foundation of Nova Scotia. Online condolences may be directed to www.crowellsfuneralhome.ca
