Obituary of Colleen Marie MacDonald

Age 80, Sheet Harbour, died on Saturday, August 7, 2021 in Eastern Shore Memorial Hospital, Sheet Harbour. Born August 3, 1941, in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late John and Annastasia (Murphy) Crane. She worked for 20 years as a buyer for the federal government. She then, along with her husband David cleaned the RCMP station for 15 years. Colleen loved to go to yard sales, watching game shows, scratching lotto tickets, spending time at the cottage and having dinner parties with family and friends, she was a great cook. Survived by son, Randy (Ashley); grandson, Alex; brothers, Jackie (Joyce) Crane, Eddie Crane; stepdaughters, Donna MacDonald Sharpe (Chester) and Laura Brent (Buddy); and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by husband, David; twin brother, Kenny; sisters, Marjorie and Norma. A funeral service for both David and Colleen will be held Thursday, August 12th at 2 p.m. in St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, Sheet Harbour Father Vincent officiating, burial to follow in the church cemetery.
