We had the privilege of knowing Bill for over 50 years. He was a very hard worker and was friendly to anyone he'd meet. Bill and Gwen were always willing to lend a helping hand in any way they could over the years. Wherever Bill was, his trusty sidekick, Dusty was by his side. You will be missed greatly by your many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Never forgotten and always in our hearts. A great brother-in-law.

I just found out today (March 31st) about Bill's passing. My aunt told me. Bill and my father were very good friends. My father's cottage was across the road from Bill's house. My father would often tell me about his visits with Bill, and how he enjoyed their friendship, and also how he loved Bill's dogs. Bill would always keep an eye on my father's cottage while my father was in town. I only had the privilege of meeting Bill twice, once in 1997 during a stay at the cottage, and the last time three years ago when I was at the cottage on a lawn mowing trip with my wife, and my brother and his wife. My condolences to Bill's family. I've been thinking about him all day, ever since my aunt Norma told me about his passing. One of the drivers at the trucking company where I work met Bill two years ago and they had a good chat. He was a good man. I'm sure he is sadly missed. My thoughts are with his family at this time. Regards, Gary
