Obituary of Wallace Charles Owen Jewers

Age 75, Ecum Secum died suddenly on Thursday, April 1, 2021 in Eastern Shore Memorial Hospital, Sheet Harbour. Born April 21, 1945, he was a son of the late Charles and Ruby (Barnard) Jewers. At an early age Wallace found his love for the sea while fishing alongside his father for mackerel, halibut, and lobster and later fishing his own boat "Golden Girl". Wallace also had a very keen sense of where he was on the water and would help the boats out in the harbour. He enjoyed deer hunting with his late brother Victor. Survived by care giver, Lillian Shaw; sisters, Mary and Charlotte both of Halifax; Carol Morash, Eastern Passage; one niece and one nephew. Predeceased by sister, Linda; and brothers, Edward, Victor and Sheldon. A graveside service will be held Thursday, April 8th, at 1 p.m. in St. Paul's Anglican Cemetery, Ecum Secum West, Rev.
