

Obituary of Dale Cadell Cameron

Age 83, Spry Harbour, died suddenly on Sunday, January 24, 2021 at home. Born in Spry Harbour February 14, 1937, he was a son of the late Merle and Anna (Josey) Cameron. Dale worked in construction with Standard Paving Ltd. for 15 years, then was employed with Hawes Trucking Ltd. He enjoyed fishing and four- wheeling. Survived by son, Cadell, Ottawa; brother, Melvin, Spry Harbour; sister, Betty (Peter) Vieau, Lake Echo; and a niece and nephew. Cremation has taken place; a graveside committal service will be held at a later date. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses who provided care to Dale over the years. My father the late Duncan S. Crowell purchased the business on August 31, 1970 from the late Parker Hamilton. Dad named it Eastern Memorial Funeral Home until a few years later when he changed the name to DS Crowell Funeral Home.
