Obituary of Betty Ileen Powell

Age 87, Moser River, passed away peacefully Monday, November 16, 2020 in Harbourview Lodge, Sheet Harbour. Born July 1, 1933 in Halifax she was a daughter of the late Clayton and Alice Kempton. Survived by children, Susan (Kevin), Tom (Janice), Tina (Reg); son-in-law, Bump Rutledge; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by husband, Edwin and daughter, Donna. A graveside committal for immediate family only will take place Saturday, November 21st at 1 p.m. in Riverside Cemetery, Moser River. The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at Harbourview Lodge for the excellent care and compassion shown to their mother during her time there.
