Our sincere condolences to all of you. A day doesn’t go by when I think of dad and I heading out to the woods fishing and hunting and always stopped in to the camp to check on things. Especially loved reading the log book of others who have added their stories and our stories that were written over a life time. Dag will be missed by many but memories will always live on written down or not so much has happened this year for us all. So sending lots of hugs and prayers to you all. I look forward Next time i get back there in the woods sharing with my kids the great times we all had. I’m sure They are all back there looking over us. ❤️ Dads favourite spot.

My sincerest condolences to Dag’s family. Growing up I always enjoyed being teased by him- and his sweet wife trying to interrupt him. My parents always enjoyed his company too and he was such a wonderful friend to Mom after Dad passed away. Heaven will certainly have another angel- Dag and Dad will be able to swap some hunting stories.
Love to all, Reta (Spears) McKay

Dag’ family:
I have so many fond stories of our times together over the years. Dag,Evelyn, Harry and I attended many dances and parties together over the years, Dag was very light on his feet when it came to dancing, Our fun camping trips to Taylor’s Head beach where Dag would always dress up as a woman and pull pranks on those around.
In our later years after we lost our spouses, we would have great chats over lunches at the hospital. Dag sure loved his family and will be missed a lot, hold onto your happy memories.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time.

The Owen’s family:
If you we’re lucky enough to know Dag, then you knew he had lots of different sides. Terrific family man, hard worker, competitive, true friend and a man who lived to laugh and have fun. There are too many funny stories to just tell one, he brought laughter to so many.
There probably could have been a soap opera if you recorded all the parties and get togethers on the Owens front lawn, with Dag being in the centre of all the pranks.
Dag you will be missed but your stories will live on forever. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this sad and difficult time.
Love
Charlie & Dawn
