Sending our deepest condolences to Aunt Joan's family. I'll always remember the wonderful hugs that Aunt Joan gave and her beautiful voice. She was such a kind lady. Her and Uncle Dale can now be together again.

I had the pleasure of knowing Joan for over 70. When we were both newly married we spent time socializing as friends.
Then as our children grew they became friends, a great cycle in life. Joan was a tireless worker and supporter of the Anglican churches especially Tangier over many decades. She will be missed and I will miss my occasional phone calls over the years.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time in your family.
Love Audrey Verge

I am at a loss of what to say. Too many fond memories to pick only one. My second mom for my first 7-8 years. So many happy memories. Will miss her hugs. Thinking of all of you and wish we could get together to celebrate this amazing woman who raised 8 wonderful children but had a hand in raising so many more and touched so many lives. Love and prayer to you all ❤️❤️❤️
