Obituary of Geraldine Lillian Mason

Age 79, of Sheet Harbour, passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2020 with her loving family by her side in Eastern Shore Memorial Hospital, Sheet Harbour. Born October 31, 1940 in Antigonish, she was a daughter of the late Gerald and Pearl (Bezanson) Kenney. Geraldine was a nursing aid at Eastern Shore Memorial Hospital starting at the age of 16 and continuing until the age of 64. In her spare time she loved camping with her family and bowling. She was the first president of the Sheet Harbour Lioness Club. She enjoyed cooking and baking for her family. Survived by her husband of 60 years, Larry; daughters, Tammy (Eric) McNutt, Onslow Mountain; Shawna (Royden) Spears, New Glasgow; son, Gary (Mandy), Lower Sackville; seven grandchildren; five great- grandchildren; sister-in-law, Lily Kenney (Shannon Burnie), Delaps Cove. Predeceased by brothers, Eric, Cecil (Nancy). Due to the Nova Scotia State of Emergency there will be no visitation or funeral at this time.
