Obituary of Harry Wallace Crowell

Crowell, Harry Wallace- 77 Bloomfield Ont. formally of Malay Falls- It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Harry Crowell. He passed peacefully on Thursday Feb 15 2018 in Hallowell House Nursing Home, Picton Ont. Born in Malay Falls February 23, 1940 he was a son of the late Joseph and Abigail (Malay) Crowell. When he left Malay Falls he traveled to Ontario and was employed at MacDonald Douglas as a wing mechanic for 22 years, retiring due to health issues. His grandchildren were his pride and joy. He enjoyed going to the local coffee shop to talk to his buddies, going to the track to watch the horse races and fishing. He enjoyed coming home to Nova Scotia where he had a camp on the Mooseland Road. Harry was an avid Montreal Canadian fan.  Beloved husband of Jean Crowell and father to Terry (Michelle) and Darrin (Robin) Crowell. Grandfather to Kelly-Jean (Jonathan) Jamjekian , Adam, Cody (Becky), Justin and Jacob Crowell. Great grandfather to Kaya, Belanna and Khloe. Brother of Philip, Calgary, Cathy (Randall) Hilchey, Windsor and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters; Margaret McInnis, Helen Negus, Daisy Bayers and Ruth Stone. Brothers; Chadwick, Duncan, William and Victor. Siblings in infancy; Joseph, Daniel, Bertrum, Arthur, Layton, Randall and Eunice. Funeral service will be held in the spring in St. James United Church, Lochaber Mines.
