Levy, David John- 67 New Chester, passed away suddenly at home Tuesday February 13, 2018. Born in Sheet Harbour on March 5, 1950 he was a son of the late Roy and Thelma (Harnish) Levy. In David’s earlier years he worked in the woods, did construction, and worked in several garages as a mechanic. David enjoyed fishing from the wharf and was known for remembering and telling lots of jokes.  Survived by his wife of 45 years Faye, sons; Gavin (Sheree), Dartmouth, Curtis (Tiffney), Port Dufferin, granddaughter Morgan, brothers; Eugene (Iris), Richard (Sheila), Ross (Linda), Edison (Milly), Randy (Susan), sisters; Evelyn Marshall, Gloria Levy-Walsh, Jean (Bill) Demmery, Diane (Joe) Strickland, Victoria (Victor) Henrickson, sisters in-law Rosalind, Dixie, Shirley, and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Harry, Victor and Vernon, sister Geneva. Visitation will be held Friday February 16 from 7-9 p.m. in DS Crowell & Son Funeral Home 22558 Highway 7 Sheet Harbour. Funeral service will be held Saturday February 17 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Barnabas Anglican Church, Ecum Secum Rev. Marilyn Newport officiating. Burial at a later date, reception to follow in the Ecum Secum Fire Hall. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
