Obituary of Ruth Colbear

Age 63, Moser River, passed away Tuesday, October 29, 2019 in VG Site, QEII, Halifax. Born November 29, 1955 in Grand Falls, N.L., she was a daughter of the late Cyril "Cy" and Elizabeth (Hiscock) Farr. Ruth enjoyed camping, playing darts, pool, baking and was a loving mother and friend to everyone. She was an active member of Royal Canadian Legion, Sheet Harbour. Survived by husband, John; children, Theresa (Matt) Tipert, Eastern Passage; Aaron (Cassandra), Shearwater; seven grandchildren; siblings, Jill Carpenter, Robert and Donald Farr. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held November 29th, at 7 p.m. in the Buffalo Club, 625 Cow Bay Rd., Eastern Passage.
