Age 78 of Sheet Harbour, passed away Monday October 7, 2019 in Eastern Shore Memorial Hospital, with his family by his side. Born in Quebec City, Que., on March 15, 1941, he was a son of the late Howard and Ruth (McCurdy) Rutledge. Kenneth retired as a foreman from the Department of Highways. He enjoyed spending time at the camp at Eastbrook Pool on Lewiston Lake, which was built by his father. Survived by his wife of 57 years, Nancy (Malay); son, Robert (Kim) Rutledge; granddaughter, Misty (Curtis); great-grandson, Brett; and great-granddaughter, Mya; grandson, Dustin, son, Michael (Mary) Rutledge, grandsons, Morgan (Shelby) Rutledge, Jonah (Kelsey) Rutledge; great-granddaughter, Peyton; daughter, Carol Rutledge; granddaughter, Kayla Behie (Adan); brother, Donald (Sharon) Rutledge; nieces, Sacha, Thia (Gary); great-nephews, Simon and Quinten. Cremation has taken place, there will be no visitation or funeral by request.
