Levy.Richard Keith- 77, Popes Harbour died suddenly Friday, June 23,2023 at home. Born in Sober Island November 19, 1945 he was a son of the late Roy and Thelma (Harnish) Levy. Richard had a love for old muscle cars and took pride in his 1970 Lemans/GTO in which he and his son built from the ground up. Richard was a truck driver until his retirement, at which time he worked with his son. Survived by his wife of 54 years, Sheila; son, Dougie (Bev), Popes Harbour , daughter Tanya (Mark Fletcher), Sault St. Marie, Ont; grandchildren, Brandon, Max ( CeCe) , Logan, Madison, and Katie; sisters, Evelyn Marshall, Gloria Walsh, Jean ( Bill) Demmery, Diane ( Joe) Strickland, Vicki ( Victor) Henrikson; brothers, Eugene, Ross (Linda), Edison (Millie), Randy (Susan); sisters in laws, Faye and Dixie. Predeceased by brothers, Vernon, Victor, Harry and David and infant sister Geneva. Visitation 7-9 pm with prayers at 7:30 pm Wednesday, June 28 in D.S. Crowell & Son Funeral Home, 22558 Highway 7, Sheet Harbour. A celebration of life will be held Thursday, 2-4 pm in the Tangier Fire Hall. Donations in Richards memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
