Obituary of Betty Yvonne Mailman

Mailman, Betty Yvonne (Jollimore) 79 of Spanish Ship Bay passed away peacefully on Friday May 19th 2023 with her loving family by her side at St. Mary’s Memorial Hospital in Sherbrooke NS. Born September 19th 1943 in Sheet Harbour Passage, she was a daughter of the late Howard and Eva (Westhaver) Jollimore. Betty was a homemaker all of her life and was very interested in her children’s lives. She also took great interest in her grandchildren and great grandchildren’s lives and activities. She also enjoyed a good cup of tea when family dropped by. She is survived by her sons Tony (Michelle), Gary (Wendy), Terry (Rachel), Kevin (Tracy), daughter Donna, 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren. Also survived by sisters Sharon Young, Essie Young; brothers Pat and Calvin (Becky). Predeceased by sisters Shirley Delorey, Ruby Newcombe, Carrie Keizer; brothers Kenneth, Clyde, Harry and Gary. A special thank you to the nurses at St. Mary’s and to Palliative Care . Your care and compassion will never be forgotten. A family graveside service will be held at a later date in St. Margaret’s Anglican Cemetery, Sober Island. Online condolences may be sent to www.crowellsfuneralhome.ca.
