Obituary of Mitchell Everett Cooper Spears
Please share a memory of Mitchell to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
SPEARS, Mitchell Everett Cooper, 34 of Sheet Harbour passed away suddenly at home on August 26th, 2021. Born in Halifax January 2, 1987. Mitch was a devoted cadet who began his career as a reservist with the military police and went on to become a member of the RCMP, later retiring due to health problems. He was a blonde haired, blue eyed little boy who had the greatest belly laugh imaginable.
He was a loving uncle to his niece Mia and nephews, Jack and Wesley. He was the type of Uncle that would do just about anything to see their smiles, including wearing a tiara and flying them around playing airplane. He was the most kind and generous person, and wouldn’t hesitate to give you the shirt off his back, if you needed it. He was best known by family and close friends for his witty, sarcastic, and intelligent humor. He was our database for everyone in the family. If you couldn’t find an answer, he would call back within minutes with a solution. He will be forever missed by his parents, Wallace & Anna (Cooper) Spears, sister Lindsay (Alex) Fiander, niece Mia, nephews Jack & Wesley ; his adoring “ Nan “Cooper (Pauline) , as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. We find comfort knowing he is resting in peace with three of his favorite people, Grandad John Cooper and Gramma Elsie Spears and Papa Don Spears. A grave side service for immediate family only, will be held at a later date in St. James United Church Cemetery (Church Point). Reverend Jeanne Manning-Stright officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Mitch’s memory to either the Diabetes or Heart & Stroke Foundation.
We love you Bubba.
