Age 85, Sherbrooke, passed away peacefully with family by her side on February 2, 2021 in Highcrest Nursing Home after a long battle with Alzheimer's. Born in Liscomb November 7, 1935 she was a daughter of the late Gerald and Ida (Gaskill) Green. In her early years the family lived in Halifax during the Second World War where she attended Joseph Howe Elementary. Then later returned to Liscomb where she spent many happy years with family and friends. She married the late Ernest Lloyd Rudolph on March 28, 1953 and the two resided in Liscomb, where she later worked as a telephone operator for Maritime Tel & Tel. In 1969 they relocated their family to Marie Joseph where they lived until 1999. Catherine loved her family and home and always welcomed friends in for a meal or a visit. An avid Chinese checker player she spent many hours teaching her children and grandchildren the game. She and Ernest were also long-time members of a local square dancing club and lifetime member of the United Church of Canada. Fondly remembered for her giving nature and wonderful sense of humour. In later years Catherine worked as a housekeeper at Liscomb Lodge and then as a caregiver with WeCare. She spent 65 years with her loving husband who affectionately called her Kitty.
