Obituary of Linda Rose Doucette

It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Linda Rose Doucette (nee Currie) 73 of Moncton, formerly of Sheet Harbour NS. Linda passed away peacefully January 25, 2021 at the George Dumont Hospital after a lengthy illness that took her last breath but not her indomitable spirit. Born in Marinette December 18, 1947 she was a daughter of the late Neil & Mae (Cruickshank)Currie. Linda was Kind and Caring and had love for everyone especially family and friends. She had a great passion for Music, including old country and her participation in multiple choirs. She loved nothing more than holding court in a full house with lots of food and music while hosting Karaoke parties for family and friends. She was blessed with wealth of family and she truly gave more then she received and touched countless lives with her kindness and compassion. Linda is survived by her husband of 54 years Carl. Daughters Shawna (Patrick), Kim (William) and son Christopher (Ray) as well as her cherished grandchildren Paige (CJ), Morgan (Kaylah), Delaney and Carter. Linda is also survived by her siblings and in-laws ...Thelma Levy, Betty Fraser, Fraise (Nora) Currie, Deanna Currie, Elsie Currie, Ola Currie and Sandra McAllister, mother in-law Ella Doucette, brother and sisters in laws Eric (Kathy), Don (Gary), Joanne (Bill), Marie, Shirley (Eric), Lisa (John), Marilyn and Pat Doucette, many nieces and nephews. Linda is predeceased by her father in-law Cyril....brothers Alan, Eddie, Jackie, Gervaise, Roddie and little Cyril and sister Dolly. Brother and sister in-laws Evelyn Currie, Cyril Lowe, Bob and Michael Doucette, Blair Wetmore, Guy Levy and Ervin Fraser. She will be dearly missed, Until we meet again. Love Carl, Shawna, Kim and Christopher Cremation has taken place and a funeral will be held at a later date due to COVID-19 restrictions.
