It is with deep sorrow that I extend my deepest condolences to you, Janice's family. I knew Janice from RCMP HQ and it didn't matter what the day, Janice always had a smile on her face and time for a chat and a laugh. I just wanted to let you know that she will be deeply missed around here and please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. May the memories you share and the love of your family and friends get you through this most difficult time.

My prayers go out to you. Janice was always sweet and kind but also could make you laugh. She did a special dance on rare occasions when I got a free coffee on a Friday . I sometimes held on to it till Friday just for the dance. I pray she is in heaven dancing with loved ones.

For well over a year Janice was most likely the first smiling face I saw after arriving to the office. I would sleepily make my way to the cafeteria and yell “Morning Janice” while I grabbed my water and moved the chip rack in place for her. Her fun loving and joking personality put anyone at ease who met her. She loved talking about being a Grandma and was very proud of her kids and Grandkids. Her absence at HQ will be felt for a very long time. My thoughts and prayers to all of her family.

Janice was a smiling face and a mischievous giggle when I stumbled bleary-eyed and cranky towards her at some hungry point during the workday. After learning of my love (and similarities) with Lucy on Charlie Brown, she nicknamed me Lucy and I'm not sure she even knew or remembered my real name after that but it was perfect. Janice never missed an opportunity to take care of us in whatever way she could. She was like a Mom feeding her herd of hungry/caffeine-starved children and did it with professionalism, pride and humour. In a building where life can get very serious and stressful and finding a kind smile and a genuine concern not always readily available, Janice's sincerity, humour and support of all of us will be missed.

Janice’s Family:
While I only knew Janice professionally, it was a true pleasure to meet and chat with her each morning. She had a kind heart and a great sense of humour! While getting to know Janice, it was very clear that her family meant so much to her; especially her grandkids.
Please take comfortable in your fond memories and know that we are thinking of you during this difficult time. She will be missed.

I am so very sorry for your loss. Janice was usually the first person I chatted with every day at work. She prepared more meals for me than I care to admit to and she was always friendly, generous and we had some good laughs. I always enjoyed seeing her and I will truly miss her.

Ronald, Amanda, Matthew, Ashley, Matthew, Emily, Weston, Hunter, Jace, Juanita, Patricia, Herb and Douglas: I am so sorry for your loss. I met Janice at Nova Scotia RCMP HQ, where she prepared the best "breakfast burgers" for my colleagues and I. When I'd ask her how her weekend was, she would usually say something about how it was great to see her grandkids. I could tell she treasured her time with them.
Rest in peace, Janice. Love and light to your family & loved ones.

I met Janice at the cafeteria at the RCMP HQ, when she first started working there. Janice always greeted people by name, with a smile and a super sense of humor. Her kind comments and friendly demeanor was always appreciated and welcome; the world has lost a kind soul. Rest in peace, Janice. My sincere condolences to her family and friends.
