Hape, George Leo- 63, Ecum Secum, passed away peacefully Saturday September 26, 2020 in Harbourview Lodge , Sheet Harbour. Born in Ecum Secum January 5, 1957 he was a son of the late William & Nola (Jewers) Hape. George worked around the community doing labour work, enjoyed scratch tickets and Stompin Tom music. Survived by brothers; Danny (Sylvia), Ted (Jane), Patrick, Gus (Cheyenne), Lloyd (Norma), sister Valerie (Elmer), many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Gerald and Gene, sister Annabelle in infancy. Visitation will be held today 6-9p.m. in Ecum Secum Chapel, masks mandatory. Graveside service will be held Tuesday September 29 at 2p.m. in St. Barnabas Anglican Cemetery, Ecum Secum.
