Obituary of John Gregory Coady

Age 68, of Windsor Forks, passed away quietly at home on Monday July 13, 2020, with his wife by his side. Born February 26, 1952, he was a son of the late Gregory and Margaret (Reno) Coady. John was retired from the Royal Canadian Air Force, and worked his second career with King Transport until his retirement in 2012, he so loved his retirement. John loved his camp weekends with his best buddy Paul Bradley. He enjoyed sitting in the gazebo smoking his pipe, just enjoying the day, he also loved day trips and weekend getaways and butterscotch sundaes with his wife. John is survived by his loving common-law wife, Lynn Farrant(Burgess); daughters, Allison Pottie (Chris), Fort McMurray, Alta.; Amanada Anderson (Robyn), Calgary, Alta.; granddaughter, Harper Anderson; sisters, Cathy and Carol Anne Coady, both of Dartmouth; and Lynn's son Robert Glen-Esk (Melissa), Dartmouth. He was preceded by his brother, Gary. A private family and close friends internment will be held in St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery, Sheet Harbour, on Monday, July 20th at 2 p.m. Father Fabian officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to D.S. Crowell and Son Funeral Home, Sheet Harbour. It is at John's request, that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Victorian Order of Nurses, Windsor.
