Age 55, Truro/Sheet Harbour, passed away suddenly at his home in Truro March 23, 2020. Born in Sheet Harbour August 20, 1964, Wade was a son of Ola (Josey) Currie and the late Jackie Currie. He enjoyed camping in his fifth wheel, family gatherings, hunting and fishing trips at the camp with family and friends. Wade was employed as a machine operator with Dexters. He enjoyed working with his hands, like his dad fixing things. Survived by son, Mitchell (Morgan), and daughter, Melissa, both of Truro; their mother, Janet Currie (Whidden); sisters, Karen (Wade) Daye, Elmsdale; Bev (Craig) Gerrard, Watt Section; brother, Blois (Kate) Currie, Truro, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. A graveside service will be held Saturday July 25, 2020 at 2p.m. in St. Peters Roman Catholic Cemetery, Sheet Harbour, Father Fabian officiating.
