Doug was a great guy. My father and him were close, he loved my father, he told me how happy he was for his mom when they got together. His Dad and my mom both passed away, and Dougie was great to Dad, and Dad also thought alot of him. He was a good step brother, and we were all happy that he was so good excepting Dad into his family. RIP Brother. We will miss you ❤️

My father the late Duncan S. Crowell purchased the business on August 31, 1970 from the late Parker Hamilton. Dad named it Eastern Memorial Funeral Home until a few years later when he changed the name to DS Crowell Funeral Home.
